We are at the next stage of growth at Tribe and are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join our Team of Mobile App Engineers. Be part of our effort to disrupt the market and reinvent the way people buy eyewear using AR-based virtual try-on, face measurements and custom-made frames.

A good candidate for this role is enthusiastic about iOS development and an expert in the Apple development ecosystem. A great candidate has development experience beyond this scope and is enthusiastic to make use of it whenever the need arrives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

​

• Design, build, monitor, and maintain iOS applications in an agile environment.

• Collaborate closely with other Engineers, UX Designers, and Product Owners to deliver value.

• Establish, extend, and communicate best practices for shipping high-quality iOS Applications.

• Design, implement, and maintain tests at different levels of the Testing Pyramid.

• Help foster a culture of software craftsmanship that enables us to deliver quality steadily and frequently.

• Use your experience to help Junior Engineers grow professionally.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Several years of professional experience in building, testing, and publishing iOS Apps on the App Store.

• Excellent skills in writing readable, idiomatic, and maintainable Swift code.

• Experience in a variety of iOS frameworks.

• You care deeply about code quality and know how to enable and maintain it.

• You enjoy following a test-driven approach where neither feature nor bug are finished or fixed until there is a test to prove it.

• A drive to get things done and writing high-quality code while remaining focused on delivering business value.

• An agile mindset and the ability to combine saying “no” with providing constructive alternatives
