Product Manager
(f/m/d)
TRIBE enables instant access to eyecare for everyone. We believe that getting glasses should be as easy as buying clothes and as safe as going to your trusted doctor. For that, we are building the world’s fastest and most reliable way to buy prescription glasses with nothing but your smartphone.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are building the mobile eyewear app for Mister Spex, Europe’s largest online optician and we are looking for a Product Manager to take on a leading role in one of our products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Work closely with our engineers to guide our product from concept to launch and with our business partners to generate profitable revenue streams.
-
Put our users first. We expect you to be zealous about providing the best user experience. It starts with customer empathy and includes a passion for our product down to the smallest detail. You should be as comfortable with sketching a wireframe for a designer as you are explaining your reasoning from a business standpoint.
-
Work with a team of highly talented and genuinely passionate software engineers and mobile developers on applied Computer Vision and Machine Learning. To lead effectively, you must have influence and credibility with our engineers. We do not expect you to code, but you should have sufficient mastery of technical concepts so that you can participate in technical discussions and help make technical trade-offs. It comes naturally to you to describe a tech problem to a non-tech person.
-
Be fluent with numbers and have strong problem-solving skills. You can identify, analyze, and solve problems in an organized way, as well as offer more than one way to tackle a problem. You are comfortable using metrics and data to make decisions. You can make your point by breaking down a problem into smaller pieces and crisply communicate your analysis.
-
Ability to think critically and structurally about problems with an innovative mindset
Key responsibilities of the Product Manager include:
-
Understand customer needs and gather product requirements. Conduct user research, carry out user testing and translate into actionable feedback for design and development teams.
-
Design and drive our product strategy, ensuring execution of the jointly defined product roadmap in time and in quality
-
Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation method and manage technical trade-offs of useability vs. feasibility
-
Leverage your technical expertise to identify roadblocks and product gaps, and mitigate delivery risks due to lack of resources or scope creep
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum qualifications:
-
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent analytical qualification.
-
Proven track record of delivering products loved by users:
-
Can be experienced in a product management position from a top-notch consumer technology company
-
Can be leading the product work in a successful consumer technology startup
-
-
Demonstrated experience working with engineering teams to define, scope, and prioritize product requirements.
-
Keenness to roll your sleeves up, get involved, and help us build a successful product and attractive culture.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Preferred qualifications:
-
Development experience using mobile app frameworks.
-
Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance, or marketing.
-
Experience in collaborating with senior leadership; comfortable in business and technical discussions with executive stakeholders.
OUR OFFER
-
Flexible working models
-
Competitive salary and an unlimited contract
-
Yearly voucher for a pair of glasses and up to 40% discount on Mister Spex products
-
